Happy December Home,
Afternoon! Thanksgiving was a real treat, I mean what a meal(s). We were blessed and served 3 on Tday; lunch with a part member family, dinner with a less active family, and then one more dinner with a family in the ward. Compared to the Charlie Brown Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade inflatable, I was so stuffed. Lots of good times, good people, and good spirits brought together in one day.
Debbie was able to make it to church, and she is doing fabulous. Working to put her as our focus this week, Debbie grasps what we teach, and her baptism's this Saturday. We are excited for her! God is doing miracles in Winder.
Also Bruni is back on date, we had a nice miracle after losing some contact with her due to the holidays, but then running into her last night. Talked outside, and taught the plan of salvation. We taught Bruni the plan of Salvation, then talked about baptism and she is dedicated to be baptized before the end of the year. She wants to be an influence and example to her family, and wants to help become a better person. We asked what day she would like to be baptized, and she said the 22nd. So sweet!
As for me, again I'm stuffed. We had two good exchagnes with Elders in the Monroe Ward, where I took a venture back to the past. And then with Elders in the Fort Yargo Ward. Both were very great and very uplifting exchanges, and learning from different missionaries I think is the best part of the Zone leading life.. the worst part ha ! I would say is trying to find the time to do actual missionary work, and getting to work more in your own area and connect more with the members. The atmosphere here is similar to Social Circle, in that I see that the environments we live in effect our attitudes and behaviour. But we learn to adapt. I now have gills and scales. But really, I will be in devastation when Elder Johnston leaves next transfer (at least he thinks he's going since he asked the assistants his fate in the mission). bahaha. I on the other hand will most likely stay in Winder for a while. Christmas will be most fun, and who knows what will happen next! In two weeks we should be headed to the temple YEEEEESSSS!!! :D
Wishing you a merry week, and jolly good time.
Hang a stocking, sing a carol, share the JOY.
Stay warm,
heart
