We had an exchange where I stayed here in Shallowford and was companions with Elder Gregory, from Gilbert Arizona, fresh new greenie. And it was a good time with him! We tracted into a new investigator who I think is prepared to recieve the message and baptism. It was cool, and he is a stud. He knows so much more about the gospel, and he will be a great missionary. His trainer is Elder Barnett, who again I don't know if I previously mentioned so i'm sorry, but also came out with me almost 4 months ago now.
We have tracted into some other areas, met some other interesting people and I would say that my contacting skills have improved a lot from when I came to the area. I'm a better bible basher from the start of the mish, haha. It's for fun. My teaching skills have also increased, and I find my passion and desire to teach is unfolding rapidly. I love it!
Yesterday was Stake Conference, we as missionaries in the zone sang in the Saturday evening adult session. Wow, did a bunch of choir flashbacks come during that sequence! Elder Nelson also spoke yesterday, and my what a knowledgeable and spiritual guy! It was nice to have a mini conference, and everybody I think is even more refocused on the work.
Well, sorry this letter is so short, but I hope you mom and dad are enjoying your trip! Peace and blessings, can't wait to hear more of your adventures!
- Love always your son, Elder Black
