This letter will confirm that Kayla Crawford was baptized this past week into the Flowery Branch Ward in Flowery Branch, GA. YES! We have cause to celebrate, the heavens are singing, and angels are doing the holy gangam style. Too blashphemous? Well, too bad. Things did go great at the baptism this past weekend. Kayla invited her Mom, her sisters, those of which all came to witness her baptism. Ricky was also there, and surprise surprise President Bennion even showed up Sunday for the confirmation. Talk about a really great Mother's Day weekend.
This week we've got good things coming, going out tonight to help a family who just moved in from upstate New York, and then later this week continuing to meet with Ricky and Kayla to help Ricky prepare for his baptism day. :)
I've been thinking about this a lot even more now, seeing that yesterday was the last time to Skype home while on the mission, but I feel so excited and anxious to go home. Let me stay, but then let me go are how things feel right now. Bleh. I still know the time that I have out here left is precious like platinum and yet I find so much comfort and peace that comes from reading the Book of Mormon, and revelation through prayer.
It was good to talk to the Mom, and the Dad and Avery too. It is so weird to see that they've changed in ways, yet I feel so so different. I guess that's how things will be for a time while I'm still in the missionary mindset. And I guess that's the ultimate blessing that comes from going and serving a mission. It means everything to me. the Mission rocks, talk about May flowers!
Save the Earth, simply help another.
much love
