"Compared to God man is nothing; yet we are everything to God"
We are still looking for contacts, and we are still trying to find people to teach. This week I should be going on an exchange again up in Monroe. I still have high goals and big dreams, as Mr. monk would say, "it is a gift and a curse."
This holiday season was a little different, though it was spent with ward members and families who are so caring and so giving to the missionaries. I especially missed Mom's funeral potatoes. Here they had some sort of the same thing only with zucchini or some vegetable- which was still really good! Anyway sounds like turkey was great for y'all! We too have a Light up the Night this Saturday, but I know it wont be as half spectacular as it is at home.
Anyway, I can’t believe it is December, at the same time I can. It is getting pretty cold here, and today we are going to the mall for P day so I plan on getting a nice sweater and some plain gloves. Our apartment can get chilly.
I love you all a ton, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for teaching me the principles of giving before getting, I've come to learn that this is very important throughout all things that we do. I must give effort and put in some work before I am to get a promised blessing. An exercise of faith, and a blessing of eternal joy. That’s it.
Have a great week! Stay joyful this month!
