Can't wait to talk to you guys too! I plan to call you at about 12 o'clock here, that's 10 o'clock Utah time, and 9 o'clock California time;) That is way cool you are going to be in the Golden State for Christmas, Say hi to Elder Dimond for me :) [We actually ran into a sister in his district at the San Diego Temple and sent his best wishes to Josh].
I got your gifts, and I am very very grateful. I really didn't know what to do with so much of the candy that people have been sending me and my companion, cause really both of us aren't candy eaters (and I say that as I currently suck on a sucker - haha). But we gathered all of our goodies together and put them in a box and delivered it to the family we have been doing service for the past few weeks. They were extremely happy and just filled with joy when we showed up to their doorstep with a box of chocolates, popcorn, candy canes, and sticky notes. It was really cool to see the light come into them, and we are actually going to be having dinner with this family tonight. I am way excited, and we're hoping to get a spiritual thought in with these guys.
I'm not at all sad, again I do miss you guys, but it's nice to know that this Christmas Eve, and Christmas day we will be with ward members and possibly some investigators who I would call extended family. The gifts just bring a flood of good memories back, and I have loved guessing the Scripture riddles, it's kinda a perk to the start of my day.
We're hopin' to have a Very (Un)Social Circle Christmas! Haha, just kidding! I am pretty excited and really I can't believe that Christmas is in two days. It is unreal. Last week we had our GANM Christmas Party, and it was great to see all the missionaries I came out with and those who I've got to go on an exchange with. They also had a talent show and that was nice, and the food was really good too. One of the gifts president and Sister Wolfert gave to us I also sent back home to you. I hope you like it! [A bottle of Frankincense - way cool!!!]
Thank you again, and thank you everybody who has been so loving this Christmas with your gifts and letters!
I can't wait to see you all in about 48 hours! Fly safe, stay warm, peace and blesssings.
Merry Christmas :)
