P-days are a vital day. They either make or break your week. Last pday, the nerf war was way fun! In the end though I was beat and tired, the term played to hard comes to mind, afterward trying to do missionary work, trying to focus was harder than normal. That would in term describe the rest of the week, tiring, at times stressful. Thank goodness for that missionary stress book, and the grace of god! Today I'm taken it nice and easy, writing definitely relieves stress. There is always definitely something to be learned in days that are harder than others. Breathing techniques, working out, power naps, and positive thinking. Just go with the flow, mate!
Among highlights include, teaching the Plan of Salvation using chalk, being fed one evening by some fine Christians BBQ at a park, having a successful exchange with Elder Loveland, Elder Roberts he himself has made some incredible changes in 7 days. As a trainer it feels cool to witness that, and that makes me feel like I'm doin' the right stuff. Elder Bonin is great too, wouldn't be able to do the things I do without him. The best description of him is Zamboomafoo, on Saturday mornings that show is usually on.
Anyway, excitement is here for GGC opening back up tomorrow!! Schools back in session, and though tracting in the heat of the day at parks can be fun, college really is the best place to find those who are young and single. And we are ready to try new ways of finding. Maybe using our voices? Haha, who knows what will happen we just ask that you pray for us that the elect will be either led or we will be led to them.
But with college starting back up, the branch is losing lots of its YSA members. These past few days, many of the YSAs are moving out and on to college, most attending BYU, BYUI, and UGA. It's a pickle of a thing, it's usually the missionary who leaves for transfers, not the members. Bittersweet for sure, but gratitude is definitely expressed for God and for the chance I've had to bond with the Mountain Park Members, they've been great in helping and aiding in the work for the salvation of souls, and in turn have left their mark on me.
Through it all it, God is really played a significant role in my life, so much now and so much before leaving Utah. Out on a mission you get to really see that. Aligning our will with his can be tricky, but I testify that he does provide a way and means of doing it, how? who knows but only Him. Why? Because He loves us. He loves us so much. And knowing that brings me JOY, PEACE, and a whole lot of other good things and I hope you all know that he brings those things to you too. I know that. How do I know? He whispered it to me. Jesus Christ lives, look to him for an example. He is everything.
The weeks keep goin', and this transfer is movin' fast. Enjoy your day take a picture and make it last!
Love y'all,
