Dear People Back On Earth,
It has been 11 months since my last Cafe Rio Dish.
It has been 11 months since my last Jamba Juice.
It has been 11 months since that last time I watched Netflix.
It has been 11 months since I last used Instagram.
I'm Still Alive!
It doesn't feel like 11 months. At times it does feel like years, and other times only weeks. I guess some could say that I'm in that part of the mission that some peeps might call the twilight zone, the hump, the middle line. I'll be honest and say that I miss it, at times, a ton.
Guess what's funny! Having the Mission President come over at random for companion study. And you know what even more interesting about it, is that while he was here we role played and practiced teaching for an appointment we were going to have; later that day we met and almost everything that we practiced was in our lesson. Talk about the work of the lord being true!
There were also some bomb exchanges that happened. It's great training, and alright being a District Leader, but I've been daydreamin' of wanting to be the greenie again, get some of this responsibility off my shoulders and getting to learn. I am hoping that whoever the next companion I have, will be someone with lots of experience who can show me how to really improve. Life is good though.
No real struggles this week, and I have felt just mellow, and everything balanced. Understanding forgiveness, grace, diligence, and what real faith is. Life is a gift, don't waste it!
Lovin' the work, not tryin' to shirk.
Have a blessed day!
C'est la vie
Love always,
Elder Adam Black
