Transfers are this week, and we got the call... I'm staying in Winder! And so is Elder Johnston for 1 more transfer!!! WOOOT WOOT! Gosh I love this kid, he's a little brother and such a good companion. We've had some major good times and I know this next transfer is going to be good. In fact, this past week was definitely one for the books.
In fact go ahead and call it The Book of Elder Black, we're in the 14th chapter 6th verse which reads:
And it came to pass, thus saith the Lord, Debbie Knight was baptized and there was much rejoicing in the city of Winder. Shouts of redeeming love, and the groove of the spirit brought blessings to all and to all a good night.
Yup :) Debbie got baptized, attached are some of the photos. Thanks everyone who prayed and helped her, now we're on to teaching the recent convert lessons. special thanks to the D'angelo family, they've been helping us teach her and fellowship and are fantastic members. In a way it was a great early Christmas gift. It's been such a spirit filled weekend, with the Christmas Devotional last night.
We had delicious dinners with part member families and with less active families. We did some choir practice for a fireside that will be the 18th. We're already getting gifts from members, and we go out and carol to families and share the He is the Gift video.
This video gives me chills every time. Have a great week and l love you all!
